Walk, run or sashay! – The Red Run is more than just a race, it’s a movement which unites the HIV sector to raise awareness and vital funds.
Since 2009 the World AIDS Day Red Run has been a instrumental event in the journey towards a worlds where everyone living with HIV can thrive and lead joyful life. Starting with just 50 people, the Red Run is now one of the UK’s biggest annual HIV community events raising over £1.1 million for crucial support and life-changing prevention projects.
In 2023, the Red Run saw over 3,000 people participate in the event, raising an astonishing £232,000 for 30 HIV charities. In 2024, Waverley Care will be participating for the first time. We can’t wait to be a part of the biggest HIV running event for the first time – why not join Team Waverley Care and help strengthen the UK’s response to HIV?
